Nursing Home Manager

I am looking to recruit a senior / experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead a medium sized nursing that caters for the elderly with nursing needs, residential care and including Dementia.

My client is an extremely prestigious, reputable care home provider with a fantastic opportunity to join the growing company.

MAIN PURPOSE
To manage all aspects of the Home`s operations, ensuring high standards of individual care to all residents. To provide support and leadership to all the staff, engendering a culture of focusing on the individual and offering high standards of service. To establish and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders.
To achieve targets for occupancy, business performance and quality for a specific Home.
Required to be nursing qualified, have previous management experience of care home and knowledge of standards and compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
SERVICES
- To ensure that quality standards are maintained and to strive for continuous improvement at all times.
- To practice maximum integrity in all dealings with clients` personal and financial affairs to build and sustain trust.
- To effectively manage Home staff through coaching, mentoring and personal development to inspire, motivate and lead the team, dealing effectively with performance issues when they arise.
- To assess and maintain the correct number of staff for the Home through robust rostering and maintenance. To recruit appropriate staff where necessary. To be `on-call`, for emergencies, which may arise, and to cover shifts if all other avenues have been exhausted.
- To maintain firm budgetary control within the Home through regular monitoring of expenditure.
- To manage effective relationships with residents, their families, people within the local community and with professional colleagues.
- To provide reports and updates on the Home`s performance.

You must be RGN/RMN and have your RMA to be considered for this position as well as possess a proven track record in managing homes to a high standard.
