Qualified Social Worker - West Midlands -Child Protection Team
Our client requires an enthusiastic and highly motivated Qualified Social Worker to join their integrated, multi-disciplinary team within Children & Families.
You will be required to be a team player, able to work closely with service users and a range of partners and providers. Duties will include:
- Assessments and Care Management
- Manage care plans
- Working as part of a team
- Participating in the Duty system as required
- Child Protection enquires and investigations
- To work with Children, siblings and family members
- To participate in team meetings
- Keeping accurate case records
- Ensuring set standards of policies and procedures are met and maintained
- Knowledge of Section 47`s, Child Protection, Court Procedures.
- Training and development activities as agreed by line manager
Candidates must hold DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent approved social work qualification and hold GSCC registration and enhanced CRB Disclosure.
2 years post qualifying experience within Children and Families.
