Qualified Social Worker -West Midlands -Adults
A local Council requires a Qualified Social Worker to join their team as a locum.
The overall purpose of the role is to provide a social work and case management service to adult service users with social care needs including mental health issues, substance misuse issues, physical, sensory and age-related disabilities and their carers. This will be achieved through:
- Carrying out assessments of need and risk assessments
- Effective specialist case management
- Carrying out reviews and developing and building on partnership working arrangements and advocacy.
Ideally you should have experience in-
- A mental health crisis team
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983
- Safeguarding adults
- Learning and physical disabilities
- Care packages

You must have a DipSW or a Degree in Social Care, a current CRB and be registered with the GSCC.
