HCL Permanent are urgently seeking experienced Child Protection Social Workers for permanent sponsored roles based in Australia`s Northern Territory.
Your role will be to work closely with children, young people and their families in the Indigenous communities of the Australian Northern Territory. You will be part of a dedicated local team in urban and remote locations, building strong relationships with the communities, local Aboriginal organisations and other government and non-government agencies. This is a challenging but rewarding role which requires individuals to have excellent communication skills, an ability to successfully work with and build relationships with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and possess an ability to analyse complex issues and make accurate assessments in unfamiliar and sometimes challenging environments.
Criteria:
- A Qualification in Social Work or any Human Services discipline that enables HCPC membership or registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- A minimum of 2 years post qualified experience in Child Protection.
- A Current Driver`s license.
- An ability to work successfully with people from culturally diverse backgrounds, specifically the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Community Welfare Workers (Qualified Social Workers) and Advanced Practitioner positions are available in various locations.
